| Details: | Discussed with Brian Irvine to take 3 repeat samples and 1 triggered sample ASAP. He stated a new well pump was installed for higher flow but this caused the water to become turbid so they installed a settling tank. All this work was done before the positive test. The thought is that this caused the positive coliform. No disinfection was done to the system after the work. Disinfecting after any work is done to the water system was discussed with the contact person. The contact person also stated a new well was drilled and will be put into use. We discussed updating this new well with the Drinking Water Program, which will likely require plan review. | ||
