Details: 2022 SS deficiency follow up:

06.13.2023-Melvin, the new DRC, provided a copy of the cross-connection control contract with Mark Plumbing. Mark is a certified backflow prevention tester. No further actions needed. all corrective actions have been completed.

03.29.2023-David Ragsdale emailed me providing the following update:
-No cross-connection specialist: David is trying to contact Mark’s plumbing/construction. This is the company hired by the water system to inspect backflow prevention assemblies. A copy of the contract and the cross-connection specialist cert number is needed to for verification. The system has also signed up operators to attend the course to become certified cross connection control specialists. David is expecting staff will become certified sometime within the next 12 months after they take the OHA training and pass the test.

Next step: The PWS manager will email a copy of the contract with Mark's plumbing. The documentation must include the certification number for the cross-connection specialist.


10.11.2022-Eric emailed me the following updates:
- Well casing not watertight: Eric provided two photos showing the repairs made to seal up the well cap.
- 2021 cross connection annual summary report: completed and received by DMCE on Feb 28, 2022.

Deficiencies still pending:
- No cross-connection control specialist: The system requested additional time to address this deficiency.

Next steps: The system has been granted a time extension to address the need for a cross connection control specialist. New due date set for March 31, 2023.
