| Details: | I received an alert on 9-29-22 for a total coliform positive sample taken on 9/27/22. I sent an e-mail to Fred Schatz regarding the repeat sampling and he responded on 10-6-22 and said that they took repeats the next day and all three came back absent of coliform bacteria. No further action at this time. Our records show that they missed taking a triggered source assessment sample for the Davis/Odell spring (SRC-BA). They were subsequently reminded on 10/12/22 via e-mail to include this spring in any triggered source or annual source assessment sampling. Fred called me on 10/12/22 to let me know that the Davis/Odell Spring (SRC-BA) was not serving the area and could not have contributed to the total coliform positive sample (although administratively combined, work is still on-going to merge the distribution system formerly served by the Odell Water Company (PWSID 41-00586) into the Crystal Springs Water District). Therefore, a triggered sample is not required for the Davis/Odell Spring (SRC-BA). OHA-DWS to remove the triggered monitoring requirement for SRC-BA. No further action required of the water system. | ||
