| Details: | The water system had collected its October coliform sample on 10/19 and it tested positive for total coliform bacteria. I let Diana know she needs to collect three repeat samples (one from her kitchen sink) and 2 other locations that are on their coliform sampling plan and a source sample from each active well. At the time of this contact report, it is unknown if one or both wells are currently active. Further action may be needed based on the results. Update from repeat sample results: Repeat samples were collected 10/26/22. 4 repeat samples and 1 triggered source were collected. Three of the repeats were present for total coliform and the other repeat and source sample were absent for bacteria. I recommended the owner have a treatment vendor look over the system. A level 1 investigation was triggered and the form was submitted to DWS. No further action needed at this time. |
