Details: I spoke with Hans from Olympic Forest Products and we chose to invalidate the ‘Pump Room Spigot’ tap as a distribution sample tap location, as it is located before the entry point to distribution and before the system’s treatment components.
The tap labeled 'Office Outside Spigot”, Hans says that tap is in distribution and located after treatment. DWS requested to invalidate it as a distribution sample as well as it is not a kitchen sink, restroom sink or drinking water fountain, which are the taps in distribution that qualify for Lead and Copper sampling for a NTNC system.
I followed up with an email to Hans stating that both the Pump Room and Outside Office Spigots are being invalidated, therefore, 2 additional distribution Lead water samples are required from locations in distribution that were not already sampled from in the previous round of 5. The 2 additional samples are due to be collected by 11/13/2022 and the sample results are required to be reported by 11/23/2022.
Chuck from DWS says the two sample locations will be invalidated.
