| Details: | Background/Problem Identification: The circuit rider was contacted by Adam Hogan of Mossy Brae Water District and requested emergency assistance with low pressures in their distribution system. Adam spoke of an ongoing issue with low pressures in the upper elevations of their gravity fed distribution system. Assistance Provided: The circuit rider assumed that there was likely a leak in distribution contributing to the local loss of pressure in distribution. The circuit rider reached out to OAWU to make a site visit to perform leak detection and to troubleshoot the system. Heath Cokeley of OAWU was able to find several small leaks, but more importantly detected what was described as a blockage at the entry to the reservoir’s effluent piping to distribution. Mossy Brae intends to hire a diver to inspect the tank to determine and hopefully remove the blockage. Follow-Up Actions Needed: The circuit rider is available to assist further if needed.
