| Details: | Today phone contact was made with the manager of the facility. It was discussed that the last sample came back total coliform positive and that a triggered well sample as well as three repeat samples would need to be taken and submitted to their lab within 24 hours. Later in the day, phone contact was made with the operator and testing requirements were discussed. The operator is aware that she is responsible for submitting a triggered sample as well as 3 repeats within 24 hours. Sampling technique and locations were discussed. 11/15/22 Today phone contact was made with the operator again as she had reached out to the lab who reached out to the county health department. I spoke to the owner again and clarified sampling requirements and coliform sampling plan sites. Discussed aseptic sampling technique again and discussed sanitizing the outlet of the faucet prior to taking samples as the operator explained all sample sites are swivel faucets and have screens that can't be removed. There is no raw sample tap at the wellhead so the deli hand sink is the closest place to take a triggered sample. |
