Details: | 09.18.2023-I emailed Craig requesting an update on the status of the actions done to address the membrane filtration deficiencies. 11.21.22 - I contacted Craig Storm, Parks Director. Craig requested a time extension to address the membrane filtration deficiencies. Craig is looking into replacing both systems (PWS 94557 and 94558) in next year’s budget. The budget cycle for the parks is July 1 - June 31 of each year. The main reason for the replacement is the difficulty obtaining parts and technical support from the membrane manufacturer. The installation of the new water systems during peak camping season would hamper the park's ability to provide water to their customers. The earliest that the new water systems could be installed would be October 1, 2023. Next steps: - A time extension is granted to address the survey deficiencies still pending. The new due date is October 1, 2023. - Marlin Gochnour with Civil West Engineering will contact Craig today to discuss a reasonable solution for the water systems to meet compliance requirements. A possible solution that will be considered, is to add a LT2 compliant cartridge or bag filter after the membrane. Marlin will provide a recommendation on a filter to add to the systems. 11.15.22 - I tried contacting Cal, but was unable to get ahold of him. I left a voice message requesting information on whether or not the system has been able to address the survey deficiency regarding the membrane filtration. Next Steps: Marlin Gochnour contacted me. He went by the parks to try and check in last week, but was not able to connect with anybody. He will reach out to check in this week to talk with them about how to address the issues they continue to face. |
