| Details: | Raw water turbidity rose on the night of October 28 and the plant was not able to adjust fast enough to prevent turbidity over 1.5 NTU from going to distribution. Operators issued a boil notice and got the turbidity down. Coagulant historically was ACH. Special study found that ferric chloride does a superior job at reducing turbidity, and will be the standard coagulant going forward. There is some concern that the static mixer is inadequate at flow rates of 7 gpm or lower. | ||
