| Details: | The City sent a letter to DWS outlining a corrective action plan to resolve the 2022 survey deficiency for an unused well within the 100-foot setback of the 4th Street Well 4 (SRC-AB). The City requested additional time to further evaluate proper abandonment of the unused well to not compromise production of Well 4 due to its close proximity (~25 ft.). Well 4 is a primary drinking water source blended with other sources to maintain nitrate levels below the MCL. The corrective action due date has been extended to December 31, 2023. DWS requests the City provide an update before July 1, 2023 to review the corrective action plan. |
