| Details: | Talked to Jen about today's sample result showing coliform present and advised taking follow-up samples on monday (1 source and 3 repeats are due). Further discussed the coliform present result from 9/5/18 was followed by shocking the system and providing a new bulb for the UV system. although on 9/24/18 sample results were clean I advised its best to collect the repeat samples asap following the initial sample results for the purpose of seeing if the initial sample may have been accidentally contaminated. If not accidentally contaminated, it would lead to aggressive action - not wasted - with further follow up taking the next month as temporary routine samples. We also talked about carefully selecting sample taps that are representative of the system and taking steps to assure a sample result shows bacteria present as a result of a dirty [out of doors] tap. she expressed intent to see repeat samples collected when the lab is operating on monday. |
