Details: | I spoke to operator Lonny about this system today. They abandoned their old well (LANE22096) earlier this year and had a new one drilled (L138691). The facility went through plan review, and all of the data is in the hands of the state. At this point, the new well has not been approved. Lonny said he submitted everything he needed to, but when Jay MacPherson left the drinking water program, Lonny was asked to resubmit some of the plan review information and the approval is pending. He said he will follow up with the state on this. After they drilled the new well, they took a coliform assessment sample (AS) out of the new well (L138691) in August 2022. When they submitted this test, it was under the assumption of Lonny that they only had one well, so the sample was labeled as ‘well #1”. In actuality though, the sample should have labeled as ‘well #2’, as the old, inactive well (LANE22096) is still listed on the online data page as an emergency well, and still has the ear tag of ‘well #1’. So, to summarize, Lonny would like to have the Assessment Sample that was taken in November to reflect on the online data page that it was taken from the new well (L138691) and not the old one (LANE22096).
