Details: | (Bill took Repeat coliform samples on Friday as directed) Bill and I discussed the new Slow Sand WTP and the befuddling mysteries therein: He currently is running the water through both WTPs: the new, ripening slow sand, and the cartridge filter series. The bizarre thing is that the slow sand filters are adding about 1.5 NTU of turbidity. Whereas his old turbidities before the slow sand was added was around 0.3 NTU, now that it's being pre-treated by the slow sand, turbidities are anywhere between 1.0 & 2.0. The good news, however - besides the fact that no children are there at the camp - is that he has not had to change any cartridge filters.
