Details: System failed to maintained EP chlorine and CT on December 30 and 31, 2022.

03.22.23-The water system failed to report their coliform sample for the month of February. During the month of February, the system was purchasing water from CBNB PWS. Ty and Gregg were reminded that purchasing system are still required to collect monthly distribution coliform samples.

01.06.23-Tier 2 notice posted on Jan 5, 2023. RT test results for sample collected on Jan 5 came back absent of coliform contamination. No further actions at this time.

01.03.23-Ty emailed me informing that the Cl2 residual tested zero on Dec 30th and 31st. Ty forgot that he had shut the system down on the 29th. This was done to allow the settling tank to sit overnight without any disturbance, giving the flock a chance to settle out. Ty made some adjustments to restore chlorine residual. After the 31st, chlorine residual went back to a 1.2 mg/L and has maintained since then.

Next steps: I provided a Tier 2 public notice template. Ty was instructed to edit the template and post it to inform customers what happened. The notice must remain posted for at least seven days. Ty was also advised to collect a water sample as soon as practical.
