| Details: | On 1/12/2023 I spoke with Robert Trotter regarding the discussion I had with a citizen served by Western Hills MH Estates' water system, who claims that their water had been shut off. Robert claims that they had tested valves on the system Thursday of last week, and the mainline valve was opened and closed. During that time, there may have been lack of water availability but the water was turned back on within an hour of those practices, according to Trotter. Robert also said that prior to that, on or around Christmas Eve, there were multiple leaks inside the park, 5 out of the 6 leaks were within vacant homes, past the water system's operations. He also said that the system's Reservoir was drained, but re-filled the early morning of Christmas Day. Robert claims there were no systemwide issues since Christmastime. Robert and I also discussed how Matt Olson is no longer with Hiland Water, and Robert said that he (Trotter) may now be listed as the main contact for drinking water systems that have operations covered by Hiland Water, within Columbia County. |
