| Details: | We contacted the water system operator by phone regarding the recent Nitrate Alert. The test result was below the MCL (and not a public health hazard). The result was greater than 50% of the MCL causing the alert. With the sudden increase in Nitrate concentration, quarterly sampling is triggered. We sent an email summarizing this information as well. A copy of the email is available to view at Hood River County Health Department upon request. | ||
