Details:

The employee who took the sample reported that the water from the well looked cloudy even after 30 minutes of pumping prior to taking the sample but that there was no obvious damage or source of contamination. They are thinking someone likely greased the well rod with soap or something similar as that well squeaks quite a bit when it hasn’t been used for a while.

This campground is currently closed. (The gate is locked but folks can still walk or ride ATVs into the site.)They will be pulling the handle and posting a closure notice so that no one can access the well until after the repeat & triggered samples are taken and results obtained.
