| Details: | City of Drain had a lead action level exceedance from testing samples in September 2022. I contacted Harold Burris and Todd Brooks regarding the next steps. A letter was sent from DMCE explaining that treatment was required along with public notices sent to customers. The City of Drain already had treatment installed for corrosion control at the water treatment plant, but it had been discontinued many years ago. So no plan review will be required to install the treatment which will be soda ash. After the corrosion control treatment is installed and pH is adjusted, two 6-month rounds of lead and copper testing will be required. | ||
