Details: | I had e-mailed Trent Weseman on 1-1-23 regarding remaining deficiencies from the 7/20/2021 survey report. Trent and I spoke on 1-3-23. Trent said that he had started monitoring chlorine residuals measured twice a week in the distribution system after the survey and more recently, had been recording them. He had also developed a coliform sample plan (received by DWS on 1-20-23), but had not had a chance to incorporate edits I had recommended. Trent also said that shortly after the survey, he had installed a new hose bib between the combined filter effluent outlet, just prior to disinfection and had begun sampling the combined filter effluent turbidity from that new hose bib. Photos of the screen installed on the tank vent were submitted on 9-29-22. He was awaiting the next Essentials of SW Treatment class to be schedule to resolve the remaining deficiency. We also spoke about the cost of the cartridge filters and options for roughing filters and potentially drilling a well and related plan review requirements. I followed up with an e-mail regarding re-usable bag-type pre-filters, wells constructed with pitless adapters, and information on disinfection, pumping, and pressure tanks for potential use should a new well be constructed. |
