| Details: | I spoke to Jay regarding not having water rights for their source. Jay had already been contacted by Nikki Hendricks with the Oregon Water Resources Dept. I followed up with resources and links to locate water rights in the area. In the e-mail I included some screenshots of the types of maps he can view online at: https://apps.wrd.state.or.us/apps/gis/wr/Default.aspx. 1) The mill site area up near Jay's house that currently provides water for your house, the Trask River RV park, and a handful of houses near Jay's is related to the Helfrich water right Cert #32490 (1959 permit #S-26279, which is for the 8 homes – 0.01 cfs water right = 4.4883 gpm water right. The map at the link above shows the 8 lots associated with this water right as well as the location of the source (point of diversion). 2) The spring source(s) near the store at the south end of the park that seems to provide water to at least some of the homes located just south of the RV park is related to Permit #S-35662, Cert #43428 - “Johnson Water Right” from 1970 – which could potentially serve the store (not for commercial use, just domestic – 0.005 cfs (2.24415 gpm). |
