| Details: | I visited the public water system to discuss the significant deficiencies noted during the recent water system survey. The water system has completed their coliform sampling plan and management and operations plan. The firm also purchased a chlorine analyzer, but it was discovered that it isn't functioning correctly (digital readout does not have all "blocks" registering). The firm has purchased a NSF chlorine and will start chlorinating for residual maintenance purposes when the storage tank receives water deliveries. A chlorine calculator was provided to the owner of the water system during the site visit to aid in how much chlorine to add when 300 gallon deliveries are made. The lid and protection of the storage tank was discussed with the owner by me and he assured me that these deficiencies will be corrected in the near future. A follow-up inspection will be made by me in March to monitor the progress of the firm. | ||
