| Details: | Contacted by voice message from operator, Bob Jones, indicating that all of his 4 repeat samples were positive for total coliform. I responded via email and instructed him on his next actions. A level 1 coliform is required per the Coliform Response Chart, I provided the Level 1 Coliform Investigation Form for the operator to complete and reminded him that the assessment is due within 30 days and must be returned to me for review. I instructed him to disinfect the well (upon finding and correcting any issues with the Level 1 assessment) and submit a special sample after the disinfection process to ensure the distribution system is absent for total coliform. Reminded the operator of 3 temporary routine coliform samples required in March. |
