Details: | 03.01.23- Christopher Kinney with Civil West completed the tracer study. Next step: Going forward, the system should use 43 min as their contact time when calculating daily CT. The contact time obtained through the tracer study (43 min) is considerably less than the theoretical contact time (197 min) the system had been using. This may impact the system's ability to meet the required CT during worst case conditions (high pH and low Temp days), during unfavorable conditions, the system could increase CT by increasing their chlorine residual to 2.6 ppm. 02.24.23-Christopher emailed me informing that the tracer study has been postponed. It appears the roads are still hazardous due to icy conditions. 02.17.23-On my way to Camp Myrtlewood Christopher contacted me to inform that Morgan had called about not being able to drain the tank today for the tracer study since he didn't realize he had a retreat this weekend. Given the circumstances, Christopher postponed the tracer study. The plan is to conduct the tracer study as soon as possible, when weather conditions are favorable. Next step: Christopher will contact Morgan to reschedule the study. A time extension has been granted. the due date to complete the tracer study has been extended to March 10, 2023. |
