| Details: | I spoke with Hans, who says that the water system is not operating as normal yet after the fire situation, but this test was going to be one to indicate if the system were to open again. He named it as a "routine" instead of a "special" sample. Hans says that after consulting with his engineers, they recommended that the water flow rate be slowed down while going through the treatment system to ensure effective water treatment before going to distribution, which he says the system will attempt. I mentioned that if the water system were operating as normal, then I would require the 3 Repeat samples and the 1 Triggered source sample at the well. Since Hans says the water system is not back up and operating as it did before the fire situation, I am not requiring those four samples but once a sample comes back as negative for total coliform, the system may reopen. |
