| Details: | The most recent Rainier OR Latter Day Saints Church drinking water sample for total coliform came back as positive. I called and spoke with Scott and we discussed that a total of 4 follow up water samples are required: 3 of those water samples are to be labeled “Repeat” samples and taken from distribution. One of the “Repeat” samples must be from the same tap that yielded the positive result (which says it was from the kitchen sink), and the other two samples must be taken at different taps in distribution, meaning within the building. This means one Repeat sample is to be taken at a location within 5 taps upstream from the kitchen sink, and another Repeat sample taken within 5 taps downstream from the kitchen sink. The 4th sample is to be labeled “Triggered” and be taken at the source, meaning a raw water sample tap either at the well or at a tap located before the water goes through treatment. I also sent, by request, an email to Scott with these instructions in writing. |
