| Details: | Owner/operator contacted me regarding the 3 distribution repeat samples that were present for Total Coliform. I mention to her that I noticed that the last few chlorine residuals listed on the samples were very low. Once the chlorine treatment system can be confirmed is operational, recommend that residuals be taken in a two or three points throughout the distribution system several times a day as a troubleshooting tool. I also instruct her to document all activities related to water system and treatment. We discuss disinfection levels vs. residual maintenance chlorine levels. She is aware that a L-1 is coming and that three temporary routines will be required in April. | ||
