| Details: | I followed up with Robert Trotter via phone and email about the new Public Notice required for the system. The public notice that the park issued in July 2022 mentioned the boil notice but did not mention that it was due to e. coli confirmation at the well due to 2 consecutive positive water tests at the well, or other required details at the time. I emailed Robert the template/instructions for the Public Notice in the event of e. coli confirmation at a drinking water source, and requested the public notice cover the e. coli event from June 2022, and the corrective actions that were and are taking place to prevent e. coli from occurring in the water system distribution. I mentioned that this updated Public Notice is required to be distributed to all users of the system's water in the next few days or there will be a fine. Note: The boil notice was lifted last summer and there has not been a positive e. coli or total coliform sample result since June 2022. |
