Details: Background/Problem Identification:

The Coos County Parks - Laverne water system has a Seccua brand membrane water treatment system. The Circuit Rider was contacted because the Seccua system was still unable to connect to a laptop computer to download data or make changes to the operations of the WTP system.

Assistance Provided:

The circuit rider reached back out to David Funderburk based on his experience and knowledge of the facility it is recommend that he be engaged to help address this current issue. David made a site visit and attempted to connect with his personal laptop running the Seccua software and was unable to connect. The circuit rider worked with David on possible strategies to reuse the Seccua system, but it was ultimately decided that a more open-source membrane treatment system should replace the Seccua unit. The water system is currently working with Quality Water Systems to prepare cost estimates for a new membrane water treatment system. The proposed new system is scheduled to be installed prior to October of 2023.
