Details: 04.07.2023-The water system has completed their monthly source assessment monitoring requirement on SRC-AB, Well #2. AS monitoring schedule on Data Online has been updated. The system is back on yearly AS samples. AS sample for 2023 has already been collected. Next AS sample due by December 31, 2024. Triggered source sampling remains in effect.

Next steps: Due to the close proximity of this well to a surface water body (Rogue River ~170 ft away), the aquifer materials (coarse sand and gravel), and the repeated total coliform positive results in the well, the DWS ground water coordinator has required that SRC-AB (Well 2) undergo further evaluation for Ground Water Under Direct Influence of Surface Water (GWUDI). This is done with a Microscopic Particulate sampling and analysis (MPA). The details of the MPA were explained in a letter sent on 04.07.2023. PDF copy also sent to the operator.

05.01.2022-The DWS hydrogeologist reviewed the construction of Well No. 2 and determined that monthly assessment monitoring was required. Assessment monitoring began May 1, 2022.
