| Details: | Mr. Iwin visited my office today to discuss the repeat positive total coliform samples. We addressed the most obvious cause which is a damaged wellhead/seal which allows direct entry of contamination. He will have a specialized contractor there this week to assess the wellhead and develop a plan to replace the seal and well cap and have it raised to at least one foot above grade. We also developed a plan to shock chlorinate the system. He will be completing a level 1 investigation within 30 days and I have provided information to begin the process of installing UV treatment. |
