| Details: | 04.24.2023-Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) 333-061-0036(10)(d)(D)(viii) authorizes DWS to require a system to resume standard monitoring or re-evaluate corrosion control treatment for new sources or treatment changes, given potentially different water quality. Bob Belloni Ranch has been purchasing water from CBNB since January 25, 2023. The operator believes they will continue using CBNB for the immediate future until they can solve the issues with the WTP. This change or source has the potential to increase the corrosion potential. For example, if PbO2 exist in distribution system, converting from free chlorine to chloramine can release lead. Next steps: The system is required to conduct 2 rounds of lead and copper monitoring and WQPs (pH, Alka, temp, calcium and specific conductance). |
