| Details: | I was contacted by the operator of the Top Stop Food and Fuel water system. He noted that he was working on collecting this quarter's routine sample after missing last months. He is switching labs because the lab he was using no longer collects samples on their own. We discussed that any new lab should be an accredited water lab and that routine samples should test for total coliform and E. coli. A new lab has been located and a routine sample will be collected for the second quarter. We discussed updating the total coliform sampling plan and reviewing it with the new lab/collection service. We discussed that a nitrate sample is required each year. Ensure the lab is aware that these samples are for a public water system and that they will report the results to the State on your behalf. |
