Details: | 05.03.2023 Survey deficiency update: -The corrective actions for the survey deficiencies associated with the membrane filtration are expected to be resolved by October 15, 2023. To extend the due date Gregg was instructed to submit an action plan with the dates when the new water treatment process is expected to be installed. -Regarding the monitoring and reporting deficiencies, these can be marked off as resolved once DWS receives the surface water quality report for May 2023. In the interim, I have extended the due date to June 16, 2023. The system is planning to reopen for this season during the week of May 5, 2023. - Regarding the turbidity readings. Gregg requested clarification on the number of turbidity readings he should take during operation. Since the water system has only one individual filter effluent turbidimeter that provides daily compliance monitoring data, that turbidimeter can be used to verify compliance for 1, 5, and 0.15 NTU requirements. For reference, see OAR 333-061-0036(5)(b)(A) on pdf page 119 of the rules. |
