| Details: | Background/Problem Identification: Rob Woodard of Lane County Public Works reached out to the circuit rider to assist Bruce Herbert of Peninsula Road Water Association with a water right issue. Assistance Provided: The circuit rider spoke at length with Bruce Herbert about the existing system and the lack of a water right. The circuit rider sat in on a conference call with B. Herbert, Lane County, OWRD, and several other associated parties. The outcome of the meeting was that Peninsula Road Water Association would need to consult with a Certified Water Rights Examiner to assess the system and provide information back to OWRD specific to gaining a water right for domestic use. The circuit rider provided B. Herbert with contact information for two local firms (GSI and SWR) specializing in water rights issues in the employ of several CWREs each.
