Details: | 07.19.2023-AO update Jonathan emailed back reporting the following: The system has received the first draft of the feasibility study. The water system requested more detailed information regarding the backup well options, asked the circuit rider to update the systems design to match what is onsite, and provide more options for clarifying the water on the surface water side. It may take a few more weeks to receive this at their staffing level. Jonathan requested a time extension to submit the action plan and the final version of the feasibility study. Once the study is finalized, Jonathan believes they will be making the following improvements: Set up a one-stop meeting to review funding options to correct the following deficiencies: •Intake: Change out the intake pumping system to a serviceable system with adequate controls and power supply. •Storage: Increase storage to a 5-day supply. •CT Study: Conduct a CT study once the storage is complete. •Clarifier: Replacing the old settling tanks with a new fabricated aluminum clarifier. •Well Development: Apply for water rights to tie new 3 gpm well into existing plumbing to supply the park with groundwater, possibly splitting the park into two water systems. Next steps: A time extension was granted for the system to submit their action plan and the final version of the feasibility study by October 31, 2023. 07.10.2023-AO update Resent email requesting an update on the compliance action plan that was due on June 2, 2023. 05.21.2023-AO update I emailed Jonathan requesting an update on the compliance action plan that is due on June 2, 2023. |
