Details: | 06.01.2023-Survey deficiencies-update Jonathan emailed me reporting that they have completed the Operation and Maintenance Manual. The tracer study is still pending. A time extension has been granted for the system to complete the tracer study (June 28, 2024). In the interim, the system will continue using a theoretical contact time of 47.4 minutes. For reference, the system installed a 5 GPM flow restrictor valve earlier this year. With the flow restricted to 5 GPM, their theoretical contact time increased from 26.3 min to 46.4 min. However, during the winter months it’s possible that with this contact time, the achieved CT may still come really close to the CT required. For this reason, the survey deficiency "Failure to calculate CT values correctly", will be considered as corrected once the system has conducted a tracer study to determine the actual contact time. Next steps: Conduct a tracer study to determine actual contact time and complete LT2 monitoring by June 28, 2024. 05.21.2023-Survey deficiencies-update I emailed Jonathan requesting an update on the corrective actions needed to address the 2021 survey deficiencies that are due June 1, 2023: - Failure to meet CT and - No Operation and Maintenance Manual |
