| Details: | DWS was alerted on 5/30 that the water system had a positive total coliform and E. coli detection at the Donner Well #9 as part of their annual source assessments on 5/23. The lab was late in reporting these results to DWS. the City was notified and will be collecting the required 5 confirmation samples before Saturday, June 3 and will let DWS know the results when available. 6/5 update: The 5 confirmation samples at Well 9 (SRC-AA) were taken and results showed that two of the confirmation samples were positive for total coliform only (negative E. coli). Since there was no further detection of E. coli, no further actions are needed. Source water protection coordinator may re-evaluate the source water assessment monitoring schedule and DWS will keep the water system updated with next steps. |
