| Details: | System reached out to DWS requesting clarification on a notice received about recent coliform violations and a new monthly coliform sampling schedule (from quarterly). DWS explained the following: --The system was issued 3 violations associated with routine coliform monitoring within the last year and that triggers monthly coliform sampling. 1st Quarter 2023: No sample results were submitted/received = Violation #13 3rd Quarter 2022: Late Reporting – samples due 10/10 and reported on 10/12 = Violation #9 2nd Quarter 2022: Late Reporting – samples due by 7/10 and reported on 7/14 = Violation #8 It appears that the laboratory was reporting coliform results late (2022 and non-reporting for 2023 Q1). The system has developed an internal plan moving forward to avoid monitoring and reporting issues. |
