| Details: | PFAS sampling conducted as part of the OHA-DWS PFAS Sampling Project showed PFOS at 5.78 ppt at entry point A (EP-A) for a sample collected 5/10/23. These results are below Oregon's 30 ppt drinking water health advisory level for PFOS, PFOA, PFNA, and PFHxS (individually or combined). A letter and the sample results were mailed to the water system on 6/6/23 which included recommendations to share the results with water consumers and any purchasing water systems (if applicable), report results in annual consumer confidence report, and conduct additional PFAS monitoring on an ongoing basis using an accredited lab. Update 1/29/26: PFAS sampling conducted as part of the OHA PFAS Sampling Project showed PFOS at 4.25 ppt, PFOA at 3.48 ppt, and PFBS at 2.29 ppt at entry point A (EP-A) for Well for a sample collected on 9/23/25. Although compliance with the MCLs is not yet required, these results indicate that LAKESIDE MOBILE HOME & RV PARK may eventually exceed the MCL for PFOS. Compliance will be based on a running annual average (RAA). If compliance monitoring beginning April 2027 shows the RAA exceeds the MCLs, the system will need to take corrective action to comply with the MCLs by April 2029. The system is already aware of PFAS detects from the 2023 sampling project and is on the project priority list for emerging contaminant funding to fund a project to address the issue. | ||
