| Details: | A resident that lives in the water system had contacted us as there was concern over the water quality as the system had been undergoing repairs. It was said that there was discolored water and at one point there was water pressure loss at the residence. I called Gary (and had also emailed Chris Allen, Board President) to get a status update. The system had been undergoing some repair work after a main leak was detected. Gary said the valve after the tank had to turned off for repairs but stated the line was pressurized. I stated that indeed people did experience pressure loss that a boil notice needed to be issued. The chlorine residual was being monitored (had a good residual) and a coliform sample was being brought in to the lab on 6/7. BMP's were emailed to Chris Allen for future recommendations. Further action may be needed depending on sample result. |
