Details: | Forward email message, from Laura On 6/5/2023 Columbia Laboratories collected a routine sample from Unit #23. This is the First Unit on line #5. Attached is the results of this showing no issue. On 6/7/2023 After receiving your call I reached out to our laboratory and Steve's Wells, it was suggested to get a sample from the interior of a home that was complaining of this smell. I did make a request to unit # 112 and she allowed me to pull the sample from her bathroom sink. On 6/8/23 I received a call from the Lab regarding the result of our special test. The test proved positive for coliform but negative for E-coli . I have not yet received a copy of the test report as of yet only the verbal confirmation. All involved believe that the problem lies in the individual homes and allowing the Chlorinated water of Rockwood Water PUD for a prolonged period of time may cure the issue. On 6/9/2023 we changed over to Rockwood Wood PUD. We will be going back to Sandy Boulevard Mobile Villa Well on Tuesday 6/13/2023. On Saturday 6/10/2023 I received a text from Unit #112 "The water is way better, doesn't smell. Thanks" I spoke with the others and they have said the same. I will continue to monitor once we move back to the Well. Thank You |
