| Details: | I received customer concern/compliant that about the water system using hauled water because of arsenic concerns. I followed up with Jimmy Sue and Cedar Hursh. Water system apparently has been experiencing loss of pressure/water due to surface water source drying up. It is not clear if any coliform sampling has been done with the loss of pressure. It does not appear the PWS has been issuing public notice. The PWS has turned the arsenic contaminated well source back and is running it through unapproved arsenic treatment system. The PWS needs to submit a finished water arsenic sample result to show the arsenic level is below the MCL. It appears the PWS is also bringing hauled water from the Medford Water Commission. The water system's data profile has been updated to reflect these new water sources. Next steps pending water quality results from the water system. | ||
