Details: Repeat samples at the hand pump were coliform-positive. A Tier 1 Investigation was submitted on 7/11/2023 for the positive results at the beginning of June 2023.

BLM currently has a boil water notice at the hand pump as a precaution. They are still working on determining the source of the contamination. I am trying to reach out to the manufacturer of that hand pump to determine if there is a defect in that specific hand pump or that series of hand pumps. They noticed that it was pulling in exterior water from the top of the hand pump assembly. This may be the source of the contamination if the inner gaskets are faulty.

Meeting with Claire on Site Aug 3rd to look at the system and do a level 2 coliform investigation.
