| Details: | I spoke with the representative for McMullen Water regarding the 'assessment' water sample taken at the source that tested positive for total coliform on 7/6/23. I mentioned that since this is not a routine sample, or part of a repeat set of samples in response to a positive from distribution, and also that this was negative for e. coli, immediate corrective action is not required however they will remain on their regular monthly routine sampling schedule for coliform. I also mentioned if this were a routine sample from distribution that tested positive, then the repeats and triggered follow up samples would be required in that case, but that does not apply for this 'assessment' source sample at the well, prior to treatment. |
