| Details: | John Amery with Tooley Water District contacted NCPHD to discuss the progress that the District has made in regard to potential funding streams with the EPA, GCI, CDDG, DEQ and Business Oregon. The recent plans have shifted due to water rights issues and land expansion. He wanted to invite NCPHD and OHA to the next monthly meeting where discussions are being made and thought that we'd be interested in participating. We also discussed public notice issuance and if he'd be required to issue a notice every time it spiked and dropped. His concern was confusing his customers as the results are sometimes lagged by up to two weeks. He'd rather keep the advisory for Nitrate exceedance until they deactivated the well in the winter (if levels spiked). NCPHD will be looking into his question and if there is a possibility for bottled water support as it is too expensive for them to maintain in these situations. |
