| Details: | John called regarding the total coliform positive. The sample was collected in the pump house. We reviewed the follow up samples needed: 1 repeat sample. I also reviewed their coliform/nitrate schedule. Nitrate is once every 3 years and due in 2026 and after the repeat, no more coliform till next year. John stated that the previous caretaker told him he had to pout two cups of bleach in the well every week. I explained that he was not to do this. If he was to do this at the beginning of each season and flush that it would be fine. But not weekly. Further action may be needed depending on results. |
