| Details: | Spoke to Steve by phone and he relayed the property owner had approved the idea of connecting with Coos Bay North Bend Water Board for service and abandon use of their well for further drinking water purposes. Steve talked of intent to get approval to cut the asphalt of the public road to access the CBNB line and providing a back flow device at the meter and using a licensed plumber to do needed work. I advised it was important to maintain the total coliform sampling schedule and keep the pH up (7.3) as per corrosion control requirements until the connection is made. Other sampling criteria (as per current requirements) stay relevant if the connection to CBNB water does not occur in the near future. When connection to CBNB is made steve is expected to give notice to Coos Health to allow the inactivation of the wildwood estates pws. |
