| Details: | City had a December detection of 0.0614 mg/L haloacetic acids from Conyers Creek. This exceeds the MCL of 0.060 mg/L. This is not an MCL violation at this time. Dan not aware of any increased chlorine levels at the plant, but the raw total organic carbon has spiked from around 1.5 to 2.5 mg/L in October 2018. City will begin quarterly monitoring of both TTHM and HAA5 at Conyers Creek in the 1st quarter 2019, with samples to be collected in March, June, September, and December. Compliance with the MCL will be based on 4-quarter average. System can revert back to quarterly DBPs when running annual average less than 0.060 mg/L TTHM and 0.045 mg/L HAA5. |
