| Details: | On 8/15/23, I received an OERS spill incident report (OERS No. 2023-2032) for ANSULITE LOW VISCOSITY 3X3 AR-AFFF Foam Concentrate (product code 416493), which is an aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) that may have contained poly- and per-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). The spill was reported by Robert Coates with Vigor Marine (503-703-9271) and occurred at 555 N. Channel Ave in Portland, Oregon. The spill involved about 5 gallons of AFFF (roughly 2-gallons of which spilled into the Willamette River) that occurred when a gasket on a pump hose from a tote failed and released the AFFF into the river while transferring to a ship. I called Georgia-Pacific Wauna Mill to notify them of the spill and relayed the information to Angela Aalbers. ODEQ had been notified of the spill. | ||
