| Details: | Matt called to consult after learning the routine sample collected on 8/22/23 tested positive for total coliform. Matt stated that the sample was collected at an incorrect location by mistake. The sample was collected in error at the untreated tap at the breakroom sink instead of at the treated tap. I advised that the required three 'repeat' samples and a 'triggered/source' sample should be collected, along with another sample marked as a 'routine' at the correct treated tap. I also emailed these follow-up sample requirements. Further action to be based on the results of the follow-up samples. It might be possible to invalidate the positive sample result depending on the results of the follow-up samples. | ||
